I was tossing around a topic to publish on today, some great ideas came in your thoughts, and then I received a contact that redirected my focus. The featured article in her newsletter is entitled “Forget About Miracles” with an opening type of “Whatever the case may be, you can stop praying for a miracle. They just don’t happen. A few of you think you’ve been aware of miraculous events or people recovering from treacherous circumstances but it’s an illusion.”
Just what a disheartening comment to produce, to share with individuals who God does not do miracles today. Sounds in my experience like someone may be without the faith arena, the Bible tells us that there are miracles to the ones that believe. So how do one explain the healing in my own body 15 years back of cervical cancer? Was this just an illusion? How about Amanda who had been a higher risk pregnancy, delivered twins and slipped right into a comma, suffered from heart failure and after family & friends began praying Amanda came home to improve her children. Is this not magic? Is this just an illusion?
In a period as we are in today it is essential or even crucial to have faith and think that God in heaven can perform miracles in lives. Perhaps you have focused on how another bill would be paid and somehow the cash can there be? Perhaps you have entered into a scenario that you shouldn’t have survived? Perhaps you have seen someone healed or been healed yourself a course in miracles podcasts when a doctor told you there is no chance or cure? The Bible tells us we as believers have the ability to do miracles, so is the writer of the article mentioned above saying that God’s word the Bible is wrong? This type of foolish and deceptive statement to be said by someone in this time as this. Are you currently being out of stock to “other” thinking or even as we call it stinkin thinkin?
In a period such as for example we are surviving in today it is crucial to cling onto the facts that’s the same yesterday, today and tomorrow…God’s word…AKA The Bible. The Bible warns us about false teachings in lots of verses as an example in 1 John 4:1 “Dear friends, don’t believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You should test them to see if the spirit they have originates from God. For there are numerous false prophets in the world.” NLT
We’re also told that by faith we could do anything; Matthew 17:20 “So Jesus said for them, “Because of one’s unbelief; for assuredly, I say for your requirements, when you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain,’Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing is going to be impossible for you personally “.Just what exactly does your faith let you know? I challenge the convinced that miracles don’t happen today, because if I believe in God, believe the Bible to be God’s words then I can’t concur with the stinkin thinkin which our self-talk, bodywork as well as magic is to be credited for the miracles happening everyday in lives round the world. Rely on things that are proven, believe in truth and release the false teachings and beliefs running through our lives such as for instance a flash flood of debris and trash. Stand on the foundation of only truth…God’s Word, AKA The Bible and begin to think in and experience miracles in your life today.
